Angels
Lives lost from senseless violence,
Innocent people robbed of a life.
Even though we are stunned and shocked,
Scared and filled with sorrow,
We must go on, and remember our loved ones as they once were.
They shall always be with us as angels.
In our memories and in our hearts,
They're in a better place
Where they can feel no pain nor sadness.
We know not why they were taken from us,
But their love will last forever,
They will never leave us.
